Delilah Cassidy, who is a law student at Arizona State University, had been traveling in Europe. She was exhausted when she finally landed back in the U.S. for a connecting flight with American Airlines.
As Delilah was about to board her flight, she was stopped by the gate agent. She was told that she would have to pay for her oversized carry on bag. Although, the fee was only $50, Delilah’s credit card kept getting rejected because she hadn’t informed them that she was back in the United States.
To make matters worse, the airline would not accept cash. Delilah got more agitated as it hit her that she would not make her flight back home. Delilah was denied entry onto the plane, as she was unable to pay the fee.
